Service is excellent and many tables so no reservations needed for lunch. Pricey. May not go back again but interesting experience nonetheless.

We were there early and was seated upstairs, right next to the windows, overlooking Ueno park. Ordered the medium sized unigi don. They came in these beautiful boxes, elegantly displayed. The unigi was very fresh, not overly sauced, grilled perfectly, with a hit of the smoke flavor. Rice was a bit wet, soft than I preferred. Service was excellent! Prices a bit on the high end!

We tried to order another bigger set cost around 6k+ yen to share insteaf of individual set but their menu stated each pax must order one set of meal. But the service is good.

You can add more sauce and spice per your preference, as well as choosing different container for your unagi rice, either in a bowl or container. Worth a visit if you are a fan of unagi
