The entrance is so hard to understand that I'm at a loss. It is said that I don't understand even if I ask the local people, I have no choice but to rely on the word-of-mouth communication on the net. And Guo can be seen.

There is an uphill road next to the ground in Imainooka Park. In winter, you can see Hodogaya and Kamakura from the top of the hill.

The entrance is difficult to understand. I live nearby, but I went there for the first time. I think it is better to avoid the summer when there are many weeds. There was a torii that fell down. Although it is a small space, it has an atmosphere surrounded by bamboo forest.

There is a stone monument when you climb the steps leading from the alley between the private houses from Hodogaya Station from the Kongoji bus stop on the Imai Kaido. You cannot go beyond the stone monument, so you need to go back to Imai Kaido once to reach the summit. Below, the inscription on the stone monument The ruins of Imai Castle are typical mountain castles built in the early Muromachi period, and the remains of the castle are still being reported today. The castle is built on a ridge at an altitude of 87 meters, and has a scale of about 300 meters north-south and about 200 meters east-west. Inari is settled. On October 8, 1955, about 100 pieces of old coins that entered Tokoname Otsuka were discovered from this precinct, but there is no document that tells who the castle was run by and who the owner was, but it still exists. It goes without saying that it is a medieval castle that represents the city in terms of its remains and relics.

The entrance is very difficult to understand. Enter from the passage on the right side of the parking lot facing the bus. There is a soba restaurant across the bus.

According to folklore, it is said to be the ruins of a castle defended by Shiro Imai and Kenpei. The temple biography of Kongoji is inconsistent with the castle owners of the Edo period and the one-country-one-castle decree of the Edo period and the fact that Hatamoto only puts a camp, so the story before the reconstruction of Kongoji is simply mixed with confusion. right. Perhaps the predecessor was the Buddhist temple that was part of the castle even at Kongoji Temple. It is unclear whether the construction of the residential area in the background was taken into consideration, but the Japanese castle system has clearly deliberately reduced the range and introduced it. Imai Castle, including the residential area and park in the background, Kongoji Temple, and Jozan Inari. Applying the name of the castle to one Kuruwa is a disrespect for the ancestors, and Reiwa's castle fans cannot be deceived. Relics have been found in Jozan Inari, where the stone monument of the Imai castle ruins, which was voluntarily erected by the mayor of Hosago to restrain development, is located. Itabi, a monument of the Northern and Southern Dynasties Old coins of medieval bronze coins From these things, it is probable that Kiso Imai, who was beautified in the Heike story during the Kamakura period, did not commit suicide and actually returned to Minamoto no Yoritomo. Even considering the customs of the samurai at that time, I wouldn't be harassed by my lord. It was a value after the introduction of Confucianism, and it was the most important background in the role of the patriarch that the samurai pursued life according to the strong man and prospered the clan. In fact, Mr. Saito, a vassal of Kiso ⇒ Mr. Saito, a vassal of Heike, left the place name of Saitobuncho, Kanagawa Ward, and there is a tradition that Mr. Saito, who was the lord of Totsuka Ward at that time, hid the wife of Prince Moriyoshi and his maid .. Furthermore, the fact that Tomoe Gozen, a concubine of Yoshinaka Kiso, remarried to Yoshimori Wada and lived in Wada Castle is told in the local history of Yokosuka City, Miura City. A dungeon where a maid of Yoshitaka Kiso was imprisoned remains at the Shakado ruins of the Hojo Tokimasa Nagoshi residence in Kamakura, but it remains in Kamakura's historical story that her daughter served Minamoto no Yoritomo. It seems that the Kiso vassals were incorporated under the umbrella of Yoritomo or Yoshimori Wada, just because they were adapted for posterity to make a good story. Returning to the castle, due to such circumstances, the castle was built in the Kamakura period, and at the latest in the Nanbokucho period, the Hojo clan used it as a fortress to suppress the bypass of the Wolf Smoke Tower, the Hachioji Highway, the Kotokaido, and the Kamakura Highway. Is geographically easy to imagine. In particular, Horikiri, which cuts off the ridge, was added to the Northern and Southern Dynasties, and in the Kamakura period, there would have been no earthworks, just by making a flattened Kuruwa on the ridge and cutting off the hem of the mountain. Only Shiroyama Inari is now considered to be the site of Imai Castle, but it is probably just one of the Kuruwa that makes a horizontal arrow at the southern end. There is a Horikiri-shaped road in the residential area on the right side of the entrance, and that is the sky moat and Oteguchi, and the whole area including the hill should have been a castle area. Unfortunately, due to the construction of the graveyard of the temple and the conversion of the surrounding residential land, such remains do not exist except for the empty moat behind Shiroyama Inari.

This castle is said to have been built by Shiro Imai, a vassal of Yoshinaka Kiso (Gen), a military commander of the Kamakura period. Also known as Fort Imai. At first, I didn't know where to go, so I thought that Imai Hill in the back was a castle ruin, but if you look closely, there is an explanation at the nearby Kongo-ji Temple, and there is a guide board at the entrance to the castle next to it. Climb there and you will find a small shrine and a stone monument. There are earthworks, but it is better not to go too far (because there was a rope). There is no parking lot ?.
