志波彦神はその拍子に冠を落とし、そのことで大変にお怒りになられ、周囲にいる神がみな七北田川の石をさらわさせたという言い伝えがあります。
それ以来、この七北田川の別名を「冠川(カムリのかわ)」といいます。

There is a legend that Shinamihiko defeated the momentum and was so angry that all the gods around him swept the stones of Shichikita River.
