I went during my lunch break, about 13 o'clock, on weekday. The staff was very kind. Even though I didn't make a reservation, it took me only 30min from the registration to the payment for the eye checkup. The doctor explained well the reason of my eye pain and described good medicine that helped my eye to recover.
July 2019:
The second time I visited the clinic to see if my diopter has changed (in order to buy lenses). I was very disappointed, because even though I had reservation (13 o’clock weekday), I waited for 30min (the woman before me had waited for 40min and was very angry asking why there’s reservation system, if you have to wait more than 40min, while the girls at the reception were kindly saying her to wait patiently a bit more). Totally it took me almost 1 hour. In the end of the check, the doctor asked me what was my diopter before and told me “there’s no much change”. She neither gave a paper, nor even told me what’s exactly my diopter! That’s ridiculous! And the bill was 2,240 yen (with insurance) for a simple check up that takes 10min, while last time the bill was 1,690 yen for more detailed check and good explanation about my pain! I wouldn’t go again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So happy I found this place! I had a disappointing experience at a clinic in Shibuya and was looking to change providers. Everyone here, from the receptionist to the doctor, was very nice and patient. While the staff is not fluent in English, they try heir absolute best to communicate with you and patiently wait for you to answer their questions in English/Japanese. Additionally, the schedule posted on their website for the doctors correctly reflects when an English speaking provider will be present (unlike other places I have been to), and Dr. Hori was very sweet and nice. You can buy the contacts at the store right next to the store. I will gladly visit this place again for both my contacts and glasses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The one time I was in a super rush they take forever. I guess it’s nice when you have a lot of time at hand but seriously, why book an appointment if there is no point in it? I’m just a bit annoyed.
It’s a good clinic, and this is just my personal experience, but it just wasn’t a good one.
