★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's about 35 degrees outside today so I was hoping to stay cool in the shop and go toy shopping. I wasn't sure why but the store was exceedingly hot today. It almost seemed like they turned the a/c off on the 6th floor. It's not fun trying to buy some toys drenched in sweat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This electronic store is the first store that was opened by Yamada Denki in Japan, so it was given the title of 'Labi 1'.
This store has a large part of the 6th floor dedicated to Gundam and has one of the widest selections I've seen in Japan.
Lots of the models are on display and their prices are very reasonable.
A membership card is available which gives you points for purchases and is a good way to negate the 10% tax.
Recommended for any Gundam Fans. ?

A good place for shopping electronics and home appliances, also a good place for buying manga and novels.

They have a big sale for grand opening from 20-24 Dec 2021, so I bough a rice cooker Zojirushi NP-ZW18 here with 28.800yen (not include tax), it is much cheaper than in Bic camera or Yodoshiba (price is 34.220yen). If you pay by Unioncard, you will be received 5% additional discount.
This place is very big, with 7 floors and you can find many kinds of merchandise here. The clerk was very kind and helpful. Thank you very much Yamada-denki.
