★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interest for first timers is the individual booth with service opposite before they drop the curtain - if with friend/s you can fold the hinged divider back - not a fan of hakata(thin) noodles - and tonkatsu overload - so rate this ramen just ordinary.
Update - 90 minutes later both our stomachs gurgling, I got a severe paid in my belly (probably gas) - and next opportunity that meal came straight out the other end - so ima gonna recommend this place as - AVOID.

Not many people, is more comfortable than Shinjuku Ichiran
I am not very like their ramen but I think you can try since Ichiran is famous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ate ichiran so many times and the quality is consistent, but I did eat some better ramen in Tokyo. Try other one next time

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good, flavourful broth with a delicious chili paste. Noodles are thin but cooked to your liking, and the toppings are fully customisable.
You order from a machine out front then take your tickets to the seat where you fill out a form saying what kind of broth and noodle you want, and hand it, along with your tickets to the server at the other side.
Food comes out quite quickly, the only downside is it's hard to find seating if you're with someone else, and if you have a bulky bag full of shopping or with a DSLR like I had you have to leave it hanging on a hanger behind you and out of sight.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This brand is my favorite place to grab quick bites for ramen. They have location in many places in Japan. The ordering process is also very intuitive and fast. And the ramen is consistent and tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just tried this brand of Ramen for the first time. I got the impression by its taste. The place was calmed and let you focus for just eating. Whatever you want to eat, just use the vendor machine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s definitely something to try at least once. I highly recommend for tourists, particularly if you’re traveling without children. It has a very cool and mysterious vibe when you walk in and your waitress greets you from behind a wall. It’s something I’ve never experienced before and honestly, kind of cool!! It’s almost like an anonymous ramen bar. They have instructions on English and draft beer! Overall I enjoyed the experience and food!
