★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 座敷童子が出る家としてその筋の人たちには有名な店。
料理は美味いが、蕎麦は微妙。
座敷童子の間の床の間に掲げられた鍾馗の掛け軸をよく見ると「猫絵の殿様」として有名な岩松道純じゃないですか。
誰も気がついていないみたいだけど。
 This shop is famous for people who have a Zashiki-warashi house.
The food is delicious, but the soba is subtle.
If you look closely at the hanging scroll of Zhong Kui, which is hung between the floors of Zashiki-warashi, isn't it Michijun Iwamatsu, who is famous as the "Cat Painting Lord"?
It seems that no one is aware of it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 立派な古民家で美味しい蕎麦がたべられます。お値段かなりリーズナブルですが、たっぷりの季節の山菜と手作りのスイーツ、コーヒーまで付いてました。
クルミのつけ汁も蕎麦にマッチしていてとても美味しかったです。
You can eat delicious soba in a fine old folk house. The price is quite reasonable, but it comes with plenty of seasonal wild plants, handmade sweets, and coffee.
The walnut soup also matched the soba and was very delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 座敷わらしと龍神様がいる郷土料理屋さんです。おばあちゃんがまたいい感じで、今回は特別に芋煮汁のつけ蕎麦を頂きました。
また行かせて頂きます。
It is a local restaurant with Zashiki Warashi and Ryujin. My grandmother felt good again, and this time I had a special soba noodle with imoni soup.
I will go again.

わらしちゃん狙いだったのですが、食べ物全て美味しいです。
また、おばあちゃんの笑顔に癒されます。皆さん優しくていい人達ばっかりです。感謝感謝‼️
11/12 追記 ３回行って３回共座敷わらしちゃんに会えました‼️
Today is my second visit.
I was aiming for Warashi-chan, but all the food is delicious.
Also, the smile of my grandmother will heal me. There are only people who are kind and nice. Thank you very much! ️
11/12 Addendum: I went 3 times and met Warashi-chan, Kyozashiki 3 times! ️

店名は「めがすず」と読みます。
元々はこの辺りの地名で「うめがえだしみず」が時を経るにつれて縮まって「めがすず」になったそうです。
さすが雪国。
座敷童子が出るお店としても有名です。
今日も掛けてある着物が揺れたような揺れなかったような…。
肝心の蕎麦は風味もコシも申し分ありません。
すり潰した胡桃入りの蕎麦つゆも美味しいです。
名物女将とのあったかい会話も楽しめますよ。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a restaurant run by a group of local women in an old farm house, and you eat in the storehouse. I think reservations would be good at busy seasons, but we went around 11:30 on a holiday weekend, and got in fine. You wait in the common area of the farmhouse and chat with the ancient hostess until your lunch is ready. And the lunch was fantastic! It's a set of real country Japanese fare using the regional specialty of walnuts. And if that's not enough, there's a friendly sprite that is said to inhabit the house!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stomach full! Kind and friendly staff! My favorite, the bamboo shoots are so juicy and fresh. Never ate sweet sautéed carp as tasty as this. U can tell how much love they pour into the food and to the one who ate them. They serve me an extra dish of veggie tempura. Thanks so much!
