★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 関白秀吉公のご遺体がある唯一の御廟になります。100円支払うことで登頂することが出来ます。ただ体力のある方に限ります笑家族連れ、御年寄の方も元気に歩いておられました。
エレベーター、車椅子の用の階段はありませんので足の不自由な方は御遠慮ください。完全な【自力】です。日曜日の4時頃お邪魔した際は空いていました。受付さんの簡単な説明もなかなかのものでした。
 It will be the only mausoleum with the body of Hideyoshi Kampaku. You can reach the summit by paying 100 yen. However, it is limited to those who have physical strength lol Family members and elderly people were walking well.
There are no elevators or stairs for wheelchairs, so please refrain from people with disabilities. It is completely [self-help]. It was vacant when I visited around 4 o'clock on Sunday. The receptionist's brief explanation was also quite good.

登り切った先には秀吉さんが待ってました。
墓の左手から清水寺も見えました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 500段の一直線の石段を登りきったところにある巨大な石塔。見晴らしはそれほど良くないが、北側の木々の合間から眼前の清水寺を見下ろせる。周囲は本当に静粛で雰囲気は抜群。
何となく太閤が大阪ではなくこの場所を墓に指定したのも納得できる気もする。
A huge stone pagoda at the top of a straight stone staircase with 500 steps. The view is not so good, but you can look down on Kiyomizu-dera in front of you from between the trees on the north side. The surroundings are really quiet and the atmosphere is outstanding.
I feel that it is understandable that Taiko somehow designated this place as a grave instead of Osaka.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ いやー参った。563段の心臓破りの石段を上るのに。日頃の運動不足を感じた。階段の中腹辺りで足がもうパンパン。多分一人で来たらギブアップしそのまま降りたかも。でも連れがいたので最後まで登り切りました。ここには五輪の塔が鎮座し。その中に太閤秀吉公の遺骸が眠っておられることを思うと大阪生まれの者にしてみれば手を合わせずにいられません。またここから見る清水寺の風景を上から望むのも良いかと思います。是非足に自信がある方なら挑戦してください上る価値はあります。ただ無理はけしてしないこと。

Maybe if I came alone, I gave up and got off as it was. But I had a companion, so I climbed to the end. The tower of the Olympics is enshrined here. Considering that the corpse of Hideyoshi Taiko is sleeping in it, I cannot help but join hands for those born in Osaka. Also, I think it would be good to see the scenery of Kiyomizu-dera from above. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ バス停東山七条下車、女坂をひたすら登ると鳥居が見えてきます。受付で登拝料100円を支払い(お守り、御朱印もここで頂けます)きつい489段の階段を上がります。こちら豊国神社の飛地境内で、天下人豊臣秀吉公が実際にこちらで眠られています。江戸期には荒廃しましたが、明治に入り再興されました。まず、登拝口の"サルに注意"の立て札に大爆笑します。それから山上まで上がると高さ約10mの立派な五輪塔が目に入ります。本当に秀吉公がこちらで眠られているのかと思うとかなり感動しました。高台寺で眠られている御正室ねねさまも、仲睦まじくこちらを向いておられるそうです。また、こちらに登拝するもう一つの大きな楽しみは、ここから絶景の風景が見渡せる事で、清水寺、八坂の塔、祇園閣などを見ることが出来ます。清水寺の全景が見られるのは、ここだけになったとかで非常に貴重なショットが楽しめます。かなりきつい石段です、無理をせず、休憩しながら上がって下さい。秀頼公ご子息国松さまの御墳墓もあります。桜をこよなく愛された秀吉公にちなみ４月は桜色の限定御朱印を、秀吉公ご命日の18日には金色の限定御朱印を頂く事ができます。有料駐車場あります。

There is also a tomb of Hideyori's son, Kunimatsu-sama. In connection with Hideyoshi, who loved the cherry blossoms, you can get a cherry-colored limited red stamp in April and a golden limited red stamp on the 18th of Hideyoshi's death anniversary. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 入口の小屋に人が居ればそこで、不在の場合は柵に取り付けられたボックスに登拝料¥100を入れます。人が居る時にはその場で豊国廟の解説の書かれた登拝券をいただけます。簡単な説明も聞けました。
入口に掲げられた「サル注意」の貼り紙に少し笑いそうになりました。実際に出るのでしょうから笑ってはいけないのですが…
小屋の人にも登拝料を払う前に「階段がかなりキツいです。大丈夫ですか？」と再度確認を受けてしまうのも納得がいくくらいの階段です。普段運動不足の人は翌日の筋肉痛必至です。
ただ、登り切った達成感はなかなかですし、見下ろすように眺める清水寺の景色などは一見の価値ありです。
