★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little kakigori shop just off Yanaka Ginza. Short queue but worth the wait. Seasonal offerings of really tasty shave ice priced at about ¥1,200 each. Seems expensive but it’s delicious and handmade. English menu available.

I came here on a weekday around 2 PM and there was no waiting at all. The staff was really friendly and the kakigori itself was way beyond what I expected. So delicious! Seems like they use really good ingredients and they don't put ton of sugar in it. It is just a bit pricey...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So I took a queue number that was 30 minutes wait, before I could join the actual queue under the hot sun for 40 minutes. It was very well managed and the staff did a really meticulous job to manage the crowd. It was beautiful milk shaved ice with strawberry topping. Definitely worth another trip back, but I wouldn’t say it’s worth an hour’s wait.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When ordering the strawberry special I was expecting to get it with fresh strawberries on top (as per the pictures both here and the menu description) and instead it was just served with more strawberry syrup on top, which was disappointing. It did taste good and there is lots of choice on the menu though. the place is nice and the shaved ice is made by hand. Be prepared to queue, especially on a weekend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really traditional kakigori shop in the traditional neighborhood of Yanaka! They still use old school tools to make kakigori instead of automatic machines that you can find in most of the kakigori shops!
They have wide range of varieties and many seasonal specials! Be sure to check their Twitter account before going as they post daily updates about operating hours and menu. Also be aware that it's a super popular shop among locals, so make sure you have enough time in hand because in summer, specially in busy hours, the waiting time could be as high as 1-1.5 hours! Having said all that, the waiting is worth it as their kakigori is one of the best in Tokyo, if not the best!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As soon as it open, I went to this cafe, but there were many people. I was waiting a few minutes. It has lively, cheerful, and busy atmosphere. I ate handmade strawberry syrup with japanese Bingsu. It tasted sweet and ridiculous. Also, they give too much syrup, so I love it. The staffs were friendly and diligent. I think there have good hygiene. I recommend handmade strawberry syrup with japanese Bingsu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great shaved ice! Flavors are always good and staff is nice. 30-45 min wait normal for weekend and some weekdays...no where to sit while wait outside. Shop is not airconditioned either. $14-$18 dollars for one shaved ice, depending on topping. It is huge though, able to share for sure!
