★ ★ ★ ★ ★ nice cafe within an art gallery. you can see the efforts to the little touches. nice spot to spend the afternoon. popular with local. we were there 10mins before the opening hours and there was already a queue.
food was just alright.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great cafe in the Yanaka area if you can get a seat! The curry is pretty great and they have a good selection of cakes and sweets. Also craft beer and coffee—what more could you want? Worth the wait!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The building is cute and it was nice to sit in the terrace but the food fails to be memorable in any way (it was edible, but that’s it) and the staff was slow and undertrained. Also, they really need to post more signs and figure their seating situation out. You need to go to the electronic kiosk INSIDE to get a ticket before you can get a table. But no one seems to get it (lack of signs) so people are having to stop and ask the already SLOW staff. Bottom line, I won’t be going back. There are tons of far better places in that area.

Nice filter coffee and great cake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ HAGISO was maybe the cutest coffee shop I've ever been in. Love the neighborhood, the music playlist is curated by local artists, they use local ingredients for the Japanese breakfast, the staff was so friendly and helpful (especially given my very limited Japanese). I ate too much because I wanted to meet the credit card minimum but I was glad I tried the scone too. Overall ambiance is amazing. Would recommend to anyone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice café. I tried their melon cream soda (メロンクリームソーダ) for ¥720 and it was delicious. It’s a cold melon soda with ice and vanilla ice cream with a cherry on top. A really refreshing beverage for the summer. The place has a stylish and cozy vibe. They have a small art gallery inside. It can get a bit crowded at the weekend, so you might have to wait for your turn to sit. They have plugs to charge your phone or connect your laptop. They also have restrooms with baby changing stations. They have English menu. Friendly staff.
