Home goods store and cafe/ rotating special stand. They serve coffee from Fuglen and a limited (if slightly expensive) food menu; the main item is an avocado toast (made with rye bread).

We are tourists from Hong Kong. We have been in Japan so many times that I can't have an exact figure. Today was the WORST WORST experience we ever had. I personally had Japanese friends in Japan and Hong Kong. I and my wife are fans of furniture and home decoration. We visited this shop at around 3:00pm today. We two walked around and finally sat on a sofa to take a rest. We sat there for around 10 mins and have a pretty quiet chat. Then a manager and a lady staff came over. Manager: Do you have any questions about the sofa? I: No Manager: This is not a resting area. You have to leave. We didn't know to react and the only reaction we had was SHOCK SHOCK SHOCK. Firstly, He was very rude to jam into my private talk with my wife. Secondly, there was a Japanese lady dressed elegantly sitting there at least for 20 mins (we realised her sitting there when we walked in) reading a Japanese cartoon book. My simple reaction is to ask "Why me not her?" His poor English made me not able to argue with him. I left the shop and looked back from the escalator. This pretty Japanese was still sitting there and not being invited to leave. I have to emphasis that we didn't disturb anyone in the shop. We just quietly sitting on the sofa. The manager discriminated us by our dress code. We as tourists wore only shorts and Tees. We had been in Ikea, high class European furniture shops, ...., they all welcome customers to sit and rest. From our experience, this shop is not classy but only stylish. We couldn't even find the name of the designers. The products are overpriced. This Manager in fact ruined the rest of my holiday. My wife cried because of his attitude. We squared that we would not go to GYRE again for the rest of my life.

The shop is very stylish and wonderful. Ordered late and it was also nice too. Service was not good. If you don’t expect good service then this place is not so bad!

They let us sit on any chairs&sofas. They have some coffee and other beverages. I had coffee which...wasn't really my type. It's a great place to take a break when you get tired of walking.

HAY is full of vesy stylish and good design home items. It's a bit expensive because of their total quality. It's worth to pay if you want to use them for a long time. Also, it is suitable for wedding gift or any special occasion. Now they have summer sale‼︎ :))
