所々ショーケースが邪魔だった部屋がありましたが、それを補って有り余る程素晴らしい！
It is a precious building full of taste and romance.

現在は山形県郷土館として公開されています。
入場、見学は無料。山形の歴史と産業についての資料展示もされています。
そのように利用されている建築物ですが、時々行われる室内楽のコンサートは、当時の欧米のサロンコンサートを彷彿とさせる部屋の中で聴けるので、おすすめ！特にここは地元、山形交響楽団が練習で使うとのこと。日本のトップクラスの音楽家の演奏を聴く機会が、ここであります。
また、音楽だけでなく、展覧会も開催されます。こちらも建物とマッチングすると、作品の力が倍増して伝わってくると思います。

This building is the old prefectural office and the prefectural capitol. Brick construction built in 1918.
Currently, it is open to the public as the Yamagata Prefecture Folk Museum.
Admission and tours are free. There is also an exhibition of materials on the history and industry of Yamagata.
Although the building is used in this way, the occasional chamber music concerts can be heard in a room reminiscent of the Western salon concerts of the time, so we recommend it! Especially here, the local Yamagata Symphony Orchestra will use it for practice. Here is an opportunity to listen to the performances of top Japanese musicians.
