★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a little gem found during our last trip to Kyoto. My wife and I went to another one near to the main road and was felt in love with nishin soba about 10 years ago. So instead of going back to the same restaurant we decided to give this restaurant a try. It's really beyond our expectation. It is a superb place for lunch after visiting kinkakuji, it can be busy hence do expect some waiting time, it varies depending on the queue and no. of people waiting, or you can check the waiting list just outside the restaurant and you can write down your name and go for a short walk if you want.
