★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was delicious! Just what we needed after walking in the rain for hours. Warm welcoming environment, and nice hot tea and soup. They provide English menus and speak English, so it was easy to communicate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great for English speaking travellers, food was so delicious that I could of eaten bowl and bowl. Definitely fantastic place to eat in Kyoto plus the the restaurant was so very traditionally Japanese. 10/10.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really great soba restaurant with a great view. The food is cheap and tast good. If you can't read Japanese they also offer an English menu. Make sure you get the Japanese style rooms so that you can get a great view of their Japanese garden.
