★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 最初に訪れた時は木造の堂々たる国鉄駅舎。しかし既に解体がはじまっていた。
次に訪れた時には完全に解体されコンクリート造の小さな駅舎に変わっていました。国鉄がまた一つ消えてしまった。
 When I first visited, it was a majestic wooden railway station building. However, dismantling had already begun.
The next time I visited, it was completely demolished and turned into a small concrete station building. One more national railway has disappeared.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ここら辺は水害があり水田耕作があまり行えず、畑を主として行っていて
畑ヶ島と言われていたが時代の流れにより
波高島となったそうです！
駅はとても小さく無人駅ですが
田舎の落ち着いた雰囲気漂う素敵な駅で
印象に残る駅でした！

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ＪＲ東海、身延線の無人駅。湯沢温泉の最寄り駅。ここから徒歩約１０分位で不二ホテルや長生館に行ける。 駅周辺は見事に何も無く、トイレと公衆電話のみ。
JR Tokai, unmanned station on the Minobu line. The nearest station to Yuzawa Onsen. From here, you can reach Fuji Hotel and Choseikan in about 10 minutes on foot. There was nothing around the station, only toilets and public telephones.
