★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅舎の前には鉢植えが沢山あり、とても爽やかな駅でした。
駅構内は貨物取扱時代の引込線があり、近代化された駅舎を見なければ、国鉄っぽさが味わえます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ あれれ？？以前は有人駅でしたが、無人駅になってしまったやうです（汗）。
この駅に祖母の家などがござひますが…。ずっと車にて行っていたので、変わりように驚きました。
ここは、特急・急行などすべての電車が停まる駅です。
駅横に駐在さんがあります。
そして、市川三郷町コミュニティバスの停留所があります。
天気の良い日は、東側に富士山の頂上付近を望むことができます！
駅前の目抜き通りは、40年前は栄えておりましたが、今じゃ一件も開いてねえや…。
おもちゃ屋でプラモデルなどを買った思ひ出などがあるのですが…。
でも、駅そばに大きな峡南郵便局もありますし、やまとという食品スーパーもあるやうです。
近隣にインターチェンジもできましたし、ここから下部や身延山や本栖湖へのアクセスもいいです。
趣のあるところです。
是非みなさんも下車してみてくださいな。

However, there is a large Gonan Post Office near the station, and there is a food supermarket called Yamato.
Interchanges have been made in the neighborhood, and access to the lower part, Mt. Minobu and Lake Motosu is also good from here.

駅前のスーパーは閉店、駅前の商店街はみごとなシヤッター通り。元は六郷町でハンコの町だったけど、さびれたな！

かなり空気も綺麗でとても居心地がいいです。
特急も止まるのでそれなりにアクセスは
