★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大沼の向かいにある。案内所であって食堂や売店はありません。トイレは利用できます。周辺には食堂なし。近くに温泉多数有り。八幡平頂上まで登るとレストハウスが有る。
 Opposite Onuma. It is an information center and there are no restaurants or shops. Toilets are available. There is no cafeteria in the surrounding area. There are many hot springs nearby. If you climb to the top of Hachimantai, you will find a rest house.

トイレはきれいです。ウォシュレットはなし。
朝、道路開通の式典があるということで、移動して、ふかしゲートまで移動し、先頭で開通を待っていたが、岩手県側に吹きだまりがあるということで今日は全面通行止。
玉川温泉には、10時開通とのこと。

In the morning, there was a road opening ceremony, so I moved to the Fukashi Gate and waited for the opening at the beginning, but today there is a snowdrift on the Iwate prefecture side, so it is completely closed today.
Tamagawa Onsen will open at 10 o'clock.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 二階に上がり自動ドアが開き……ビックリ…というより笑い？ほのぼのさせていただきました。何がどうかは実際に体験してみて下さい。無料の施設のため予算や人件費も厳しいと思いますが素晴らしいです。
八幡平アスピーテラインの道すがらにあります。道路を挟んだ向かい側には大沼があります。一階が大型のトイレとなっており二階が情報や資料館となっています。当日の天気や熊の出没状況などこちらも詳細に提示してあるので参考にして下さい。
中ではコロナ渦で削除された展示コーナーもあり残念ですが奥には映像で八幡平を味わえるシアタールームがあり４つの中から八幡平を味わえる映像を観ることが出来ます。展示コーナーでは動物や行動、食事など実際に展示してあり近くの後生掛温泉の泥炭の仕組みや様子も展示してあり後生掛温泉の奥の遊歩道を歩く際の参考にもなります。もちろんトイレ休憩だけでもありですが折角、大沼や立ち寄る際は中に入ってみて下さい。
I went upstairs and the automatic door opened ... I was surprised ... Rather than laughing? It was heartwarming. Please experience what is going on. It's a free facility, so I think the budget and labor costs are tight, but it's great.
It is located along the Hachimantai Aspite Line. Onuma is across the road. The first floor is a large toilet and the second floor is an information and museum. Please refer to the detailed information such as the weather on the day and the appearance of bears.
It is a pity that there is an exhibition corner that was deleted by the corona whirlpool inside, but in the back there is a theater room where you can taste Hachimantai with images, and you can see the images that you can taste Hachimantai from among the four. In the exhibition corner, animals, behaviors, meals, etc. are actually exhibited, and the mechanism and state of peat at the nearby Goshogake Onsen are also exhibited, which can be used as a reference when walking on the promenade at the back of Goshogake Onsen. Of course, it's just a restroom break, but when you come to Onuma or stop by, please go inside.
