We also introduce the creatures and plants of Oirase Gorge and Towada Hachimantai National Park. You can feel free to drop in. You can observe wild birds in the lake in front of you.

The interior was pretty and there was a great caldera model. The interior was the best thing about this place. Surprisingly spacious. However the reason I went was to obtain information about boat tours. I was not told anything that Google couldn't in two seconds.

Some really interesting and informative displays, especially the geological history of how the lake was formed by volcanic action over millions of years. The local plants and animals displays were informative. The typical rocks found in the area was interesting. The facility is new, clean and we'll lighted. The bathrooms were well maintained. The location near the JR Bus stop is convenient.
