 The small visitor center at the southern end of Towada Hachimantai National Park has an inside explanation and display of the flora and fauna and natural landscape of the national park, and there is a specialty store next to it. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 一人旅で2020年10月中旬にアスピーテラインに行く際の予習をすべく立ち寄りました。
当時、紅葉が旬の八幡平に初めて行くことにワクワクしている中、八幡平の良さを満喫したいと思い
明るく綺麗で八幡平・岩手山のハイビジョン映像や標本、模型など展示してあり、またスタッフさんにアスピーテラインのオススメスポットをご教示頂きました。
→寄る前はアスピーテラインはドライブのみと考えていましたが、山頂をトレッキングしようと思い、実践することに
敷地内に物産館もあり、食事やお土産購入などできますしオススメできるスポットです。
I stopped by to prepare for going to Aspite Line in mid-October 2020 on a solo trip.
At that time, I was excited to go to Hachimantai in season for the first time, but I wanted to enjoy the goodness of Hachimantai.
It is bright and beautiful, and high-definition images, specimens, and models of Hachimantai and Mt. Iwate are on display, and the staff taught us the recommended spots for the Aspite line.
→ Before I stopped by, I thought that the Aspite line was only for driving, but I decided to go trekking on the mountaintop and put it into practice.
There is also a product hall on the premises, where you can buy meals and souvenirs, which is a recommended spot.

コーヒーはホットを頼むと、各テーブルでサイフォン使っておとしてくれるようです。
第2・第3駐車場の周りの木が桜の木で、綺麗だった気がします。

八幡平アスピーテラインの入り口にある場所なので観光名所が周りに点在していますがあまり紹介もしておらず…もう少し八幡平をあまり知らず観光に来た方々に対して名所や道案内などの情報を発信してほしいものです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山の上へドライブ行く予定でしたが、付近通行止めで行ける感じがしなくて、ココに聞きに行くと雪で山頂に行けないことが確定しました。わからないことは、ここで確認できるとわかりました。
ここの情報無ければ、情報不足で
悶々としていたと思います。
松川温泉とかには行けるようでした。私は諦めて高速から乳頭温泉郷へ行きました。
