★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not bad but not any different from the Gyu-Kaku in the US. This does. Offer ayce with three tiers choosing between 80 items for about 3k yen, 100 items for 3.5k yen and 120 items for about 4k yen. I had the 100 items and only. Ate about 10 percent of the items since you're only given 70 minutes to order and 90 minutes total of sitting time. Chose beef since it's the easiest to cook. Pre-seasoned meats are rather over seasoned so pretty to chase your meats with a salad, kimchi or for those who dare to eat carbs, rice. It is rather cramp and oddly enough ppl are allowed to smoke at the dinner table. Overall I think a great ayce kbbq place is way better than coming here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered a la carte. Food came in very small portion. Like small 5 pieces per serving and thin, roughly less than 100g. Ordered take a very long time to serve meats (30-40 min), which is just raw meat! And we didnt get all what we ordered. Need to reminded them again. Only strictly 90min per seating. Plus could not pay by creditcard, cash only. One of thr worst in Tokyo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably not a great place for tourists. Strictly limited to 90 minutes, (even though we weren't doing the tabihodai) which either wasnt explained to us or we didnt understand, and tables very small and tight. Meat was just "ok", as was other quality of food. Probably wouldnt return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are a meat lover, this would be one of the best place to go when visiting Japan, even my kids eat 3 times more than usual.
The wagyu beef, sweet potato with butter + honey and their corn are so good. Bare in mind the queue is crazy long and you must stay within the premise while waiting otherwise they will give your booking seats to someone else who are willing to stay and wait.
Try to come at an unusual time for a quicker queue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bring cash - This is the best red meat experience in Shinjuku. Don't be too intimidated, they are very welcoming to foreigners.
You'll be in front of a table for and be placing meat you choose over an open flame. A really unique Japanese experience that is great in groups. Highly recommend the strips of wagyu beef. They will be heavily marbled
