★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御前山や鐘つき堂などに行くことができる道の駅かつらから１番近い登山口。駐車場はないので道の駅かつらの無料駐車場に停めるといいです。那珂川大橋手前を左に入るとすぐに東登山口があります。登りはじめすこし大きめの石がゴロゴロしています。太い木が多く低山なのですぐに御前山城跡についてしまいます。景色はよくないので景色を眺めたい人は鐘つき堂まで行くと良いです。
