★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 別称大平山とも言い，益子町と茂木町との境に位置する標高272mの山です。低山ながらも富士山のような円錐形の美しい山であることから富士の名が冠されているのでしょう。アクセスは，広域農道・はが野グリーンコリドールから「芳賀富士入口」の案内を見て西進。その先，「芳賀富士熊野神社入口」の案内を見て北進。案内板はどちらも小さいので注意です。狭い舗装道はやがて砂利と草の道となり，「芳賀富士登山道入口」「ましこ世界遺産」の案内板がありますが，そこには駐車スペースはないのでそのまま直進すると左手に車4台分ほどの駐車場があります。ここから熊野神社の鳥居をくぐって，参道を兼ねた登山道の階段を登っていくと中腹に熊野神社が鎮座し，向かって社殿右側からつづら折りの登山道が続きます。さほど疲れることもなく山頂へ。ここはちょっとした広場となっていますが，山桜が植えられ，その季節にはさぞ美しいことだろうかと思います。山頂と登山道の途中から富士山が見えるそうですが・・・晴れてはいるものの，遠くの空は霞がかっていて残念ながら。
のんびり歩いても，駐車場から往復30分くらいでしょうか。本日の目的は中腹の熊野神社への聖地巡礼（ご当地アニメじゃありません）であって，山頂はついでだったのですが，来て良かった，登って良かったと思いました。清々しく心地よき場所です。
 Also known as Mt. Ohira, it is a mountain with an altitude of 272 m located on the border between Mashiko and Motegi. Although it is a low mountain, it is probably named after Mt. Fuji because it is a beautiful conical mountain like Mt. Fuji. For access, go west from the wide-area farm road, Hagano Green Corridor, after seeing the guidance for "Hagafuji Entrance". After that, go north after seeing the guidance of "Hagafuji Kumano Shrine entrance". Please note that both information boards are small. The narrow paved road eventually becomes a road of gravel and grass, and there are information boards for "Haga Fuji Mountain Trail Entrance" and "Mashiko World Heritage", but there is no parking space there, so if you go straight on, it will be about 4 cars on your left. There is a parking lot. From here, go through the torii gate of Kumano Shrine and climb the stairs of the mountain trail that doubles as the approach to the shrine. Go to the summit without getting too tired. This is a little open space, but I wonder if it will be beautiful in that season when mountain cherry blossoms are planted. It seems that you can see Mt. Fuji from the middle of the mountaintop and the mountain trail ... Although it is sunny, the distant sky is hazy and unfortunately.
Even if you walk leisurely, is it about 30 minutes round trip from the parking lot? Today's purpose was a pilgrimage to the Kumano shrine on the hillside (not a local animation), and although the summit was incidental, I was glad I came and climbed. It's a refreshing and comfortable place.

山頂より少し手前の景色が素晴らしいです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021年3月7日に訪れました。麓の安善寺から僅か20分ほどで頂上に立てます。南側の展望が良く、ベンチもあります。安善寺は都落ちした平貞能が1194年に建立したと伝わる浄土宗の静かなお寺です。
I visited on March 7, 2021. It takes only 20 minutes from Anzenji Temple at the foot of the mountain to reach the summit. The view on the south side is good, and there are benches. Anzenji is a quiet temple of the Jodo sect that is said to have been built in 1194 by Taira no Sadayoshi, who fell into the capital.
