1990年8月に自転車で付知側から越えました。高樽の滝から少し戻って高樽林道に入ります。久し振りのハードな砂利ダートです。出だしは森の中でしたが、高樽谷に出るとカンカン照りに晒されて登るようになります。ボトルはすぐに残り僅かになり、やっとあった水場で冷たい水を満たします。谷を詰めた所で直上に峠を望むようになります。この真弓峠は岐阜側と長野側の林道が峠で繋がっておらず、段差を梯子で昇り降りするという、林道サイクリストには有名な峠でした。期待して行きましたが、峠には新しい切り通しが開通していました。傍らには役目を終えた梯子が残されていました。

I crossed it from the Tsukechi side by bicycle in August 1990. Go back a little from Takataru Falls and enter the Takataru Forest Road. It is a hard gravel dirt after a long absence. It started in the woods, but when I went out to Takataru Valley, I was exposed to the shining light and started climbing. The bottles will soon run out and fill the cold water in the water that was finally there. You will be able to see the pass directly above the valley. This Mayumi Pass was a famous pass for forest road cyclists, as the forest roads on the Gifu side and the Nagano side were not connected by a pass, and the steps were climbed up and down with a ladder. I expected it, but there was a new cut in the pass. A ladder that had finished its role was left beside it.
