京都、五条。鴨川から東にすこし、清水寺や、祇園、宮川町など、美しく歴史のあるエリアから程近い場所に位置する、GOJO GUEST HOUSE。 すぐ裏手には、別館GOJO GUEST HOUSE ANNEXもあります。
どちらも京都特有の古き良き日本家屋で、築100年の料理旅館（松葉亭）を改装した本館は、１階にカフェ・バーとスーべニールショップを併設しており、お客さん同士の交流も楽しめます。全室個室の別館では、隠れ家のようにひっそりと落ち着いたひとときを過ごせます。
京都駅からはバスで15分、徒歩なら30分程の距離。市街地にも好アクセスで、鴨川へもすぐ出られます。近くに銭湯もあり。
観光を楽しんだり、のんびりと自分の時間を楽しんだりと、GOJO GUEST HOUSEを拠点に、ここでしか味わうことのできない京都での暮らしをお楽しみください。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best hostel we could have hoped for! A great location, super comfortable rooms, kind and friendly staff and great in-house cafe and breakfast. We stayed in a twin room and it was a great way to have a hostel experience and some privacy. Thanks Gojo, we will be back next trip!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been here a few times in the past six years. The staff have always been super helpful and relaxed. Downstairs has a chill vibe and is good to hang out in. The rooms are pretty traditional. If you want new and modern with all the mod cons, this might not be the place for you. If you want character and good people, this is the place to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hostel staff was so helpful and nice, we had a great time, and the hostel felt very welcoming. The café area was a great plus, with a nice community feel but also some privacy from the street. We felt at home! Don't miss the staff recommendations for restaurants and izakaya, they really know where to go to have a good time and escape the hords of tourists so common in Kyoto.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is lovely and you'll always find someone willing to have a chat or play cards in the common room, from staff to travelers. :) The showers are nicely hot and everything is closer to an older house than the ryokans I've seen so far.
They have an impeccable taste for the background music, good coffee and delightful curry. Grab your chopsticks and slide the door! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, most of the main attractions on this side are 3km radius from the hostel. It's on the main road, easy access and feel safe when you go back late. Cozy traditional place with sliding door, wooden interiors. Lovely staffs. It would be better in summer as they dont use heater in the hall so it's quite cold if you need to go out of the room for a shower and such. Overall great place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this hostel! Not only was the staff really friendly and fun, their recommendations were stellar. I would not have had the same experience in Kyoto had I stayed anywhere else. This place is close to all the cool places in old town, very artsy, and very relaxing. I also like the fact that there is a cafe on site and guests get discounts. They also play great music.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best hostel I've ever been!! Kyoto has the finest hostel in old Japanese wood, tatamis and futons for a very cheap price!! Amazing staff and very friendly, can speak English and very funny to talk to :) 'they serve breakfast, beers, in z friendly atmosphere. Can't recommend enough!
