★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 室町時代に古市氏によって築かれた平山城。興福寺大乗院坊人であった古市氏は、室町中期頃より勢力を拡大し古市党を形成し、大和永享の乱後、古市胤仙－胤栄は北和の雄筒井氏と勢力を争った。応仁の乱以後、筒井・越智氏が大和国人を二分して争うが、古市澄胤は越智家栄の娘を正室に迎え、越智氏の中核として勢力を更に拡大し、明応２年の明応の変後に山城守護代に任じられている。大和国人衆と対立していた澄胤は、細川澄元が部将赤沢長経を大和に侵入させると、細川方に与して大和国衆と戦っている。永正五年、赤沢長経方が河内高屋城を攻めると澄胤も参戦し、この合戦では戦死した。古市公胤が跡を継ぐが、古市氏は勢力を失い天文１２年に筒井順興に敗れた、古市城を自焼して東山内に退去し没落した。
Hirayama Castle built by Mr. Furuichi in the Muromachi period. Mr. Furuichi, who was a Daijinin of Kofukuji Temple, expanded his power from around the middle of Muromachi to form the Furuichi Party. I fought. After the Onin Rebellion, Tsutsui and Ochi quarreled over the Yamato people, but Furuichi Sumiyo welcomed Ochi Ieei's daughter to the official room and expanded the power as the core of Ochi. After the change of Meyo, he was appointed as the guardian of Yamashiro. Sumitomo, who had been in conflict with the Yamato people, was fighting against the Yamato people by giving them to Hosokawa when Sumimoto Hosokawa invaded the general manager Akazawa Nagatsune into Yamato. In the 5th year of Eizo, when Akazawa Chokaga attacked Kawachi Takaya Castle, Sumitomo also participated and died in this battle. The Furuichi public army continues its footsteps, but Furuichi lost power and was lost to Astronomical Astronomy in 2012 by Junko Tsutsui.
