★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Temple with a large cemetery surrounded by maple trees. Gorgeous in the fall. Free parking lots before you cross tracks and then a 5 minute walk to the temple along the river. We visited in mid-November and the fall leaves here were gorgeous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Eigenji in August, 2016. It was raining, so I didn't see another person the whole time I was there. Visiting the temple was one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small temple with extended cemetery. It is known for a nice view of maple ? leaves at the river side. It will be colourful in November.
There are many statues, some are intriguing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful little temple with intense autumn colors and a great view over the valley. But this is a most famous spot, so there's tons of visitors. There's a big parking space near the station, which is a 15 min walk. There are a view parking spots at the temple.
There are few Dixie toilets.
