There is a parking lot and a toilet, but there is no store or vending machine. It is a mountaineering port of Nabeji mountain.

日立～北茨城から袋田の滝に行くには、この峠を越えるか、酷道とも言われる461号線から北上する事が多いと思います。
こちらのほうがすれ違いは出来ますので、マシかなと思います。
It's a complicated mountain pass, and it's fun to drive.
To get to Fukuroda Falls from Hitachi to Kitaibaraki, I often cross this pass or go north from Route 461, which is also called a harsh road.
I think it's better because you can pass each other here.
