ひたちなか市内に整備された約280（2019年現在）の公園のうち、ここ勝田第三中学区にある49の公園のうちのひとつ。
ワンダーグーや西松屋の裏手に設置されているので、買い物ついでにお子様と遊ぶのにピッタリの公園です。公園外周の通りは車道ではなく、車止めで車両の侵入が制限されているため、小さなお子様でも安心して遊ばせることができます。
園内設備は、大型複合遊具をはじめ、ブランコ、鉄棒が設置されており、この鉄棒の意匠は他の公園で見ない凝った作りになっていました。

Of the approximately 280 parks (as of 2019) maintained in the city of Hitachinaka, one of the 49 parks located here in Katsuta Junior High School.
Since it is located behind Wonder Goo and Nishimatsuya, it is a perfect park to play with children while shopping. The road around the park is not a road, but a car stop is used to restrict the entry of vehicles, so even small children can play with peace of mind.
The park's facilities, including large compound playground equipment, swings and horizontal bars, were installed, and the design of these horizontal bars was elaborate, unlike other parks.
