園内に男女別トイレがあり子供用遊具もある。座るベンチや公園中央には時計もある。春夏秋冬問わずに様々な木々(梅、桜、いちょう、つつじなど)を楽しめる。
どの年代でも利用しやすい。
There is a parking lot in the park and it is easy to reach by car.

ひたちなか市内に整備された約280（2019年現在）の公園のうち、ここ勝田第一中学区にある53の公園のうちのひとつ。
ひたちなか市の街区公園を代表する公園と言っても過言ではないほど、とても立派な公園です。
公園敷地は南北で雰囲気が異なり、北側は森と遊歩道を中心に遊具、東屋が設置され、南側は広場を囲むようにベンチやオブジェが設置されています。このオブジェは園内に複数設置されており、全て意匠が異なっているので、これらを見つけながら散策するのも楽しそうです。
街区公園では珍しく時計台が設置されていました。

One of the 53 parks located here in Katsuta Daiichi Junior High School, of about 280 parks (as of 2019) maintained in Hitachinaka City.
It is a very splendid park that is not exaggerated to say that it represents the block park of Hitachinaka City.
The park grounds have different atmospheres on the north and south sides, with playground equipment and arbors being set up on the north side, centering on forests and promenades, and benches and objects on the south side surrounding the plaza. There are a number of these objects in the park, all of which have different designs, so it would be fun to stroll while finding them.
Unusually a clock tower was set up in the block park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駐車場多め。トイレ、遊具、芝生あり。朝からウォーキングしてる人も居ます。近く(の薬局前)には自販機あり。暖かい時期は、お弁当をもって芝生のところで食べたり。
A lot of parking lots. There are toilets, playsets, and lawns. Some people have been walking since the morning. There is a vending machine nearby (in front of the pharmacy). In warm weather, I eat lunch on the lawn.

今では珍しい砂場もあったり、家族で座れるテーブル＆チェアも多いので、家族そろってのんびりとした時間が過ごせます(^_^)
我が家は子どもと虫かごを持って公園をお散歩♪今度はおやつを持っていこうかな。天気がいい日は駐車場がいっぱいになるほど人気があります(*^^*)

Nowadays, there are rare sandboxes and many tables and chairs where you can sit with your family, so you can spend a relaxing time with your family (^_^)
My family takes a walk in the park with a child and an insect cage ♪ I wonder if I should bring a snack next time. When the weather is nice, it is so popular that the parking lot is full (* ^^ *)
