ひたちなか市内に整備された約280（2019年現在）の公園のうち、ここ勝田第一中学区にある53の公園のうちのひとつ。
青葉町の住宅地を通る歩道の一角に設置されているため、自動車での来園は不可です。
四方を住宅に囲まれた閑静な園内には、幼児用の小型滑り台と乗り物を模したロッキング遊具が設置されています。自動車が入って来られないので、小さなお子様でも安心して遊べる好立地だと思います。
公園銘板は他で見ない独自のものが設置されていました。

One of the 53 parks located here in Katsuta Daiichi Junior High School, out of approximately 280 parks (as of 2019) maintained in Hitachinaka City.
Because it is installed at the corner of the sidewalk that passes through the residential area of Aoba-cho, it is not possible to visit the park by car.
In a quiet park surrounded by houses on all sides, a small slide for toddlers and rocking playground equipment imitating vehicles are installed. I think that it is a good location where even small children can play with peace of mind because cars can not enter.
The park's nameplate was unique and was not found elsewhere.
