★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Five star hotel skyline overviewing over lake Biwa& Siga prefecture / large room with full wifi service / beer vending machine on floor / vegetarian dining with kind service / Night view which is just fascinating and the bathtub overviewing it. Believe me, this place worths every single yen;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The vegetarian meal here is really good. The view of lake biwa is amazing too however it is unlikely that you would get a window seat as they are often reserved for local tour groups

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very comfortable hotel with adequate services. The room itself was not bad. The rooms are big to say the least. My wife and I wanted to bring our children back every season, to see and appreciate the changes to this magical place in all of its colors and richness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in this hotel for 5 days during our trip. We will be staying here again. We were very happy with the services. We always had transport willingly available to us from the resort. The location of the hotel is really great. I definitely think these rates were very fair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got up very early the next day to go to go to the Buddhist service at the main hall which was a lovely experience. Fortunately, I rang the hotel and they sent a van to pick us up within 15 minutes. Rooms were traditional Japanese style with tatami matting and very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ People will go out of your way for you. I was blown away at how beautiful the room was. The staff throughout the hotel could not have been more helpful. The baths were very nice too with views down the mountain. Beautifully presented and tasty. Experience at the hotel was wonderful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you like vegetarian food and are willing to shell out a bit more money I highly recommend eating here. The traditional Buddhist meal was absolutely amazing and with spectacular views! If you go during the off season you don't need a reservation but only one meal option is available. If you reserve ahead of time I believe there are more options available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here, this is the Temple accomodation which provides superb service. It has great café, perfect japanese room with spectacular view, nice onsen, they even provide vegetarian meals for dinner and breakfast. I joined the morning ceremony early in the morning. When i went back home, it feels like i start a new fresh soul ?
Maybe i will come back again.
