★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always cozy and unique. Has so many delicious cakes and my favorite one is chiffon cake. Also there is butter cookies which are plane, when you put it in your mouth, it melts and they are so good with their coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Known for their signature butter blend coffee, Danke is a quiet and cozy kissaten amidst the busy Shinsaibashi area. Each cup of coffee is carefully made at the counter after ordering and is served in a different cup from their collection. As the butter in the blend is subtle, their cheesecake is a good pairing with the coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the chiffon cake. Light, flavorful, and moist. The butter coffee tasted a little like weak instant coffee, and I couldn’t really detect any buttery taste? Not sure if adding cream/sugar amplifies it since I have my coffee black.
In terms of ambiance - a nice reprieve from the noisy streets below. Be aware that there’s a smoke section that you can’t really avoid seeing that it’s not really closed off from the rest of the shop.
