★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lady server was rude when we ordered, as if she got mad that we just got a dessert and no pizza. Then when we paid she was so antipatic and very rude; no smile at all and she was just impatient.
Bad service.
The food? It was not authentic. I was kinda disappointed. And even if it wasn't authentic it could be good no? Well, it wasn't. It was blah.
I wouldn't come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty chill spot right off the Nishiki market strip for beers. Didn't have any food so couldn't really comment on that but for one thing, it smelled great! The beers though were fantastic! Extremely happy they served big boy sizes. And competitively priced too! You are looking around ¥850 for 1L (1000mL). Excellent deal and ice cold beers. Service can be a bit slow though but who can blame them? The place is poppin with activity!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come sit down as I tell you my story. I came upon this fairly uncomfortable and confusing Italian restaurant by luck and the fact I wanted pizza. Dear reader, do not be fooled by the charming decor or stone pizza oven.
Expensive? Yes.
Flavor? Confusingly not Italian at best.
Comfort? Low.
Staff? Pretty nice actually.
Recommend? Go somewhere else.
I was gonna get prosey but decided against. It gets none of my creativity!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for the Neapolitan pizza. Admittedly there are better pizza places in Kyoto but the margherita was pretty authentic. The second pizza on the menu (young sardines and onion) was, to be frank, a little odd and I wouldn’t order it again. Otherwise, cool vibe and interior; very, very hasty staff (my plate was swept away the moment I put my fork down, for better or worse); and reasonable prices (¥1000~ lunch sets).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second Update: I went to this place 3 times already, and all of them were different. This time we ordered 2 different pizzas and they were not good at all (Do you have different chefs, or was he in a bad mood?). So I do not know what to expect next time, and this is not good thing if you want to have a regular customers. This time not more than 3 stars.
Update: I visited this restaurant 2 months after my review, and was nicely surprised. It looked like they put more cheese on our pizzas this time :) Great to see that they respond to the costumers comments! 5 stars!
Pizza was quite good, but there could have been more cheese and bacon on it. The stuff is nice, but don't speak English. The place is quite and cosy. We liked this restaurant (worth of 4 stars).
