A nice design, everything is made of wood.
You have to go to the counter first, to order your stuff. I'm kind of disappointed that there is nothing like a menu or set with burger, fries and drink... Cause the prices are really high..I think for what you get its way too expensive
But still the quality is okay and it's very delicious. I can also recommend the ShackMeisterAle

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A piece of New York in Kyoto!!! The taste of the fries it’s the same but at least for me, the taste of the hamburgers is different, too olily here. Also the preparation of the meat was not ok, when you start eating your burger it starts to fall in peaces... nice place if you want to live the Shake Shack experience but nothing else

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Actually i've tried the one in NY, USA... and now i can feel the differences between both location. The Japan one is more sophisticated. Spacious place, rather than US which merely like usual fastfood resto. But overall it is still the same. Taste good with good milkshake also *still my favorite ever*. Dont forget to try their uji matcha milkshake❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent, juicy American hamburgers with the best real “shake” I have had in Kyoto. No ice cubes in it, and made with actual ice cream. Rich, thick, and fabulous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot recommend this place enough!!! tourists like me might ask, shake shack tastes the same everywhere in the world so why bother going to one in Kyoto. but this was the most wonderful experience I ever had in this neighborhood. Okay no exaggeration, burgers and fries taste the same. only difference is that they offer their signature sauce as a dip instead of mayo. However, their matcha edition shakes and concretes were phenomenal. I ordered Kyoto Cookie crete which is a matcha-flavored ice cream. This was just great. And their hospitality is the greatest of them all. The clerk frequently checked with me if I needed anything, and they even helped me move a seat to use a charger. I mean, their food might be expensive a bit but it was worth every penny considering their service, taste, free Wifi and the atmosphere. I would definitely come here again to taste the Uji matcha shake.
