The original curry is lighter, but I preferred the rich taste of the old-fashioned curry. I think that the daily curry is better for cospa, but I think the original curry 580 yen is cheaper.

We had two special curries: one with grilled vegetables (awesomely grilled) and one with hamburg steak (well-flavored with onions). Came with great beef-based curry sauce and egg. Rice was crispy at the bottom of the pottery plate. The chef was also very accommodating to our requests, making the curry less salty as we liked. Highly recommend it when you're near Philosopher's Path / Ginkakuji temple.
