★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2018年京都浄土宗寺院特別公開で拝観しました。本堂内部や本尊の阿弥陀如来座像などが10月27日土曜日の午前の2時間だけ公開されました。
長香寺は徳川家康の侍女「おこちゃ」の願いがきっかけとなり、京都大工頭の中井正清らの尽力で建てられた寺院とか。本堂内部の写真撮影もOKでした。
御朱印も頂戴しましたが、「女人開創之寺」の文字と「おこちゃ」の絵が入っていました。
尚、お寺は「高倉通り松原下ル」なのですが、google mapの誘導では一筋西の東洞院通りに誘導されてたどり着けませんでした。
 I saw it at the 2018 Kyoto Jodo-shu Temple special exhibition. The inside of the main hall and the statue of Amida Nyorai, the principal idol, were released only for 2 hours in the morning on Saturday, October 27th.
Chokoji is a temple built with the efforts of Masakiyo Nakai, the head of Kyoto carpenter, triggered by the wish of Ieyasu Tokugawa's maid "Okocha". It was OK to take a picture of the inside of the main hall.
I received a red stamp, but it contained the characters "Women's Kaisono-ji" and a picture of "Okocha".
The temple is "Takakura-dori Matsubara-dori", but I couldn't reach it because I was guided to Higashinotoin-dori in the west by google map guidance.
