★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 茶山という地名は, 戦国-徳川時代の豪商 "茶屋四郎次郎"(ﾁｬﾔ ｼﾛｳｼﾞﾛｳ) に由来するという。なんでも初代(1542 -96)は, 三河以来の徳川家康の御用商人で, 本能寺の変の際, 家康の伊賀越えを助けたのだとか。
 It is said that the name of the place, Chayama, is derived from "Sayajiro Chaya", a merchant of the Sengoku-Tokugawa period. It is said that the first generation (1542-96) was a merchant of Ieyasu Tokugawa since Mikawa, and helped Ieyasu to cross Iga during the transformation of Honnoji.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅に入るのにゲートはないので、お金かからないし、ベンチもあるので、電車が見たい小さい子は、座ってみてれば次々いろんな電車が通るのでよいです。
時々、乗り方を聞かれますが、乗る電車が来てるなら、とりあえず飛び乗って整理券取れば大丈夫です。降りる時に精算できます。乗り口は、運転席と逆側なので、進行方向向かって後ろ側から。
There is no gate to enter the station, so it doesn't cost money, and there are benches, so if you are a small child who wants to see the train, you can sit down and various trains will pass one after another.

ICカード:入場時に簡易改札機にタッチ。降車時に車内の運賃箱にタッチ(ラッシュ時は簡易改札機にタッチ)。
現金:入場時に発券機で整理券を発行。降車時に車内の運賃箱に運賃と整理券又はきっぷを投入。
※券売機は設置されているが使用不可。運賃表がほとんど京阪の物みたいになっている。
A small unmanned station in a residential area.
Because it is a one-man train at an unmanned station
IC card: Touch the simple ticket gate when entering. Touch the fare box in the car when you get off (touch the simple ticket gate at rush hour).
Cash: Issue a numbered ticket at the ticket issuing machine when you enter the venue. When getting off, put the fare and numbered ticket or ticket into the fare box inside the car.
* Ticket vending machines are installed but cannot be used. The fare table is almost like that of Keihan.
