★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Tonkatsu! One of my favorite lunch places! But the standard have dropped tremendously! The service is absurd, there will be free multiple seats but they won’t seat the customers in line. Constantly keeping a line of 10 people waiting while there are free seats. To make matters worse the new staff they get can’t seem to get the order right! The only reason why there are 2 stars left for this places is because of the food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inside the very American Roppongi tower is a more traditional fried cutlet place with properly made tonkatsu. I recommend sitting at the counter, where I was able to see the full process from raw meat to plated dish. It was mesmerizing and informative. Pat your meat after salting and then again after flour (dredging, right?). Dip in the egg wash (so have the egg in a deep bowl, not a shallow bowl). Massage the breadcrumbs and be willing to sacrifice some for the sake of a good coating. Stand on end so most of the oil drips out instead of settling on a flat end.
All are things you learn as you're eating properly made tonkatsu. Don't go to Shake Shack. Go here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Premium pork cutlet is great, and really tasty. Ample seats at the counter where you can see the chefs in action.Quite a pleasant experience. The prices you see on menu are nett, and I paid 2400 yen for premium pork 150g (mid portion). Apparently it's standard price for such even if you go other places in Ropponggi. I would prefer large portion to be completely satisfied but wouldnt want to dish out 3500 yen for a meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolutely must if you really want to experience the real tonkatsu. They have two options and I recommend the higher end one as the meat is an experience on its own.
Not a fancy and elaborated menu..they only do one thing but they do it to perfection.
The service is fantastic and they let you be. They try their best to understand you and help as much as they can.
The place is small but enough space so you don’t feel crowded.
We will come back for sure in our next trip to Tokyo!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Juicy native Japanese pork cutlets. Everything is prepared fresh, if you come at dinner times, most likely there will be queues.
Nice and bright deco. But slightly difficult to find, at the B2 level of the Beauty Plaza.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most amazing Tonkatsu we've ever had. Juicy and crispy, it almost felt like we were eating premium Japanese Wagyu! The side dishes were also amazing here, and they were quite comfortable speaking English as well.
Make sure you ask your hotel concierge to help you reserve a seat at this branch because it is always very full.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best tonkatsu I’ve ever tasted. I got the pork tenderloin lunch set large size, which is not even one of the fancier cuts of pork they offer. It was amazing. Nice service, calm place, incredible pork.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious! The meat point is sharp. Today, the pork meat is from Shizuoka and from Niigata. You can see the meat at the refrigerator window in the restaurant entrance; chef prepares the portions in front of diners. Side dishes are delicious, too.
