★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 訪問時、遅い時間でしたので進入路の入り口近くの東屋までしか行けていません。徒歩で入りかけましたがやはり暗くなりそうだったのと早速鹿の洗礼を受けてしまったので。
それにしても「ここからの車はご遠慮ください」と書かれているのに、「車で近くまで行ける」とか大カツラそばと思しき場所で車の写真を撮られているのはどういうことでしょうか。ここは地域の財産区です。地権者は個人ではありませんが存在します。そこに許可を取って入られたのなら構いませんが。
少々疑問に思います。

林道は狭く荒れているが、ゆっくり進めば問題ない。
林道北側（但東町日殿付近）から進入出来なかった。

熊は直ちょく出ますのでお気お付けて。私は車を下り側に向けて、ドアの鍵を開けて、いつでも逃げられる準備をします。

周囲は芝生が広がる公園になっていて他の樹木がなく、近寄ったり少し離れて眺めたり、ずーっと眺めていられそうです。四阿も設置されていて、のんびり休むことができます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 国の天然記念物に指定されている糸井の大カツラ。ヒコバエが木の周りからでており、主幹は朽ちてありません。
木の近くまで車で入ることができ、駐車場がおります。
トイレも完備されており、ベンチもあるためのんびり過ごすことが出来ます。
道中の道路は悪路ですが、ゆっくりのぼれば問題ありません。
近くに糸井川がながれているので、とても美しい小川です。
子ども達も遊べるのでおすすめです。
Itoi's large katsura is designated as a national natural monument. Basal shoots are coming out from around the tree, and the main trunk has not decayed.
You can drive close to the trees and there is a parking lot.
There is also a toilet and a bench so you can relax.
The road along the way is a bad road, but if you climb slowly, there is no problem.
It is a very beautiful stream because the Itoi River runs nearby.
It is recommended because children can also play.
