M	Masako Yamashita on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 高山植物の「花の名山」なので今まで7月に2回登っていましたが、今回の秋の紅葉も素晴らしかったです。今年2019年の見頃は平年より数日早めでした。阿弥陀池周辺の浄土平とムーミン谷（馬場ノ小路）の草紅葉は樹林の紅葉より早いので、阿弥陀池の周囲はすでに枯れ草色でしたが、男女岳・横岳斜面の錦の彩りはちょうど見頃でした。八合目登山口から焼森・大焼砂経由のシャクナゲコースと、一般的な片倉コースで周回するのがおすすめです。標準コースタイムは男女岳登山の往復時間を省く阿弥陀池までなら約4時間です。横岳への男女岳鞍部からの稜線通しのコースは、登山の経験が浅い人は厳しいです。転落事故もあるヤセ尾根とよじ登るような斜度の岩場があります。遠回りでも大焼砂回りのほうが無難です。阿弥陀池小屋の裏手下木道から旧硫黄鉱山跡経由の旧道コースは崩壊のため廃道になり、通行止めの立て札がありました。（2019年9月30日） I climbed twice in July so far because it is a “high mountain of flowers” of alpine plants, but the autumn leaves this time were also wonderful. It is recommended to go around the rhododendron course via Yakimori / Daiyaki sand and the general Katakura course from the 8th entrance. The standard course time is about 4 hours to Amida Pond, which eliminates round trip time for climbing men and women. The ridgeline course from Yokodake to Gyokudake is difficult for those who have little experience in mountaineering. There is a rocky slope with a slope that climbs up to Yase Ridge, which has fallen accidents. Even if you are going around, it is better to go around the large sand. The old road course via the old sulfur mine ruins from the bottom of the Amida pond hut was abandoned due to collapse, and there was a closed sign. (September 30, 2019)
D	DARE KIM on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In late summer, it was tough to pass through "jungles" to get the pond, but it deserved. You can find this place in good weather for additional view of Tazawa lake too. I do not recommend for the entry-level hikers to hike along the 1km-ridge wrapping the pond, since the both sides are too narrow - just as 50cm width & both left and right sides are steep cliffs -, and angles to the cliffs feel almost 80 degrees.
