小	小池正彦 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 越後一ノ宮であり珍しい茅葺ということで訪問。糸魚川市役所に駐車すれば、歩いて5分くらい。参道入口から社務所までは、なかなか良い雰囲気で、境内に至ると石舞台と茅葺の拝殿が目に入る。コロナのためか御朱印は頂けなかったのは残念！ I visited Echigo Ichinomiya because it is a rare thatched roof. If you park at Itoigawa City Hall, it will take about 5 minutes on foot. From the entrance to the shrine to the office, the atmosphere is quite good, and when you reach the precincts, you can see the stone stage and the thatched-roof worship hall. It's a pity that I couldn't get the red stamp because of Corona!

ま	まるふくかんたろう on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 天津神社は境内社奴奈川神社とともに越後国一之宮で式内社・大神社の論社。奴奈川神社も式内社・奴奈川神社の論社。拝殿前には舞台があり４月の例祭で舞われる舞楽は国の無形文化財に指定されているそうだ。拝殿内に奴奈川神社、天津社の扁額、そして住吉の扁額も見える。拝殿の後ろに少し離れて立派な造りの本殿。左隣には奴奈川神社が鎮座する。街中の喧騒から隔絶された一之宮らしい厳かな雰囲気が漂う境内だ。参拝していると丁度良い具合に陽が差して境内を心地良い風が吹き抜けた。ご祭神に歓迎されているような気がして嬉しかった。 Amatsu Shrine is a shrine of the Shikinai Shrine and the Great Shrine at Ichinomiya in Echigo Province along with the precincts Nanakawa Shrine. T	Theodore Brown on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful shrine with a traditional thatched roof. This is one of Itoigawa's main shrines. There is also a shrine to Princess Nunakawa here. If you are interested in that sort of thing, be sure to check out the komainu (lion dog) statues here. They are really quite fascinating.
J	J H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the three principal shrines of Niigata Prefecture - 一宮. It isn’t included in the book of all of the head shrines of Japan 全国一宮御朱印帳. You can still get a temple signature here though - just go to the little house with a garden off to the side during working hours. Ask for a 御朱印帳 Goshuincho if you don’t have one (the temple signing book), or just ask for the signature. It costs 1500 yen for a book, and or an additional 500 for the signature.
