H	HO NA on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 無料で利用できる立派な施設です。　再現されたトワイライトエキスプレスやプラレール・鉄道ジオラマ、子供が遊べるスペースもあり鉄道ファンでなくても充分に楽しめました。　リゾート列車「雪月花」が停まってました。綺麗な色です一度は乗ってみたい。 It is a wonderful facility that can be used free of charge. There was a reproduced Twilight Express, Plarail / railway diorama, and a space where children could play, so even if you were not a railway fan, you could fully enjoy it. The resort train "Snow, Moon and Flowers" was stopped. It's a beautiful color I want to ride it once.

t	tom sasaki on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駐車スペースが無いので残念ですが、こじんまりと良い感じです、何とか鉄で言えば、博物館鉄（博鉄）にはぜひ一度訪問してほしい場所です。全国に鉄道博物館は多数ありますが、ここは駅舎内にある珍しいものです。 It's a shame because there is no parking space, but it feels small and nice. In terms of iron, I definitely want you to visit Museum Iron (Hakutetsu). There are many railway museums all over the country, but this is a rare one inside the station building.
軍	軍畑先輩 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 列車の乗り継ぎで時間があったので訪問しました。ジオラマやNゲージ等色々な物が展示されていて、大糸線で走っていたキハ52やトワイライトエクスプレスの食堂車のレプリカの車内に入る事が出来ました♪暇を潰すのにちょうど良い施設だと思います。 I visited because I had time to transfer trains. Various things such as diorama and N gauge were exhibited, and I was able to enter the inside of the replica of the dining car of Kiha 52 and Twilight Express that was running on the Oito line ♪ It is a good facility to kill time I think.
T	Takashi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鉄道模型のジオラマに圧巻。車輌の操作が出来ます。Nゲージなので馴染み深いサイズ感。ジオラマと来館者の仕切りは背の低いアクリル板だけですので近づいて写真も撮れますし、カチャカチャと模型らしい音もまた楽しめます。大糸線を走っていたキハ52の実車やトワイライトエクスプレスの実車サイズのレプリカもあり何度も訪れたくなる場所です。 The diorama of the model railroad is a masterpiece. The only partition between the diorama and the visitors is a short acrylic board, so you can get closer and take pictures, and you can also enjoy the rattling and model-like sounds. Children will be pleased with the Plarail and the large diorama. In the adjacent waiting room, the actual vehicle of Kiha 52 used on the Oito Line is on display and you can freely enter it. There is also a full-scale exhibition of the Twilight Express. Ticket vending machines and replacement vehicles are also interesting.
T	Theodore Brown on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're visiting Itoigawa or even just waiting for your train, you owe it to yourself to stop by here. Tons of information about Itoigawa and the Itoigawa UNESCO Global Geopark shown through videos, interactive displays and exhibits. There is a kid's play area which has an indoor slide and climbing wall and a large satellite map of the Itoigawa UNESCO Global Geopark. The staff at the Tourist Information Center don't speak much English, but they will do their best to help you with anything you need. There is also a preserved Kiha-52 train, the kind that used to run on the Oito Line between Itoigawa and Matsumoto. It's been repurposed as a waiting room, pretty novel idea. On the other side of the train is a model railroad gallery, featuring model railroads of Itoigawa, Tokyo and the Himekawa Gorge. You can operate the trains for a fee. There is also a kid's play area in the railroad gallery where kids can play with Plarail plastic, battery-operated train sets. Lots of fun for younger kids and a great opportunity to interact with locals!
