K	K Fr on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the place you take your friends to to convince them that vegan food can be amazing. The main dishes I've tried were all delicious and a welcome source of fresh greens so rarely found in Japan, however the desserts are what really make the experience. I have tried the gateau chocolate cake and the "cheese"cake on two separate occasions. The cheesecake tastes precisely like a high quality version of the real thing. If you weren't told it was vegan, you would absolutely not know it was--even the texture is completely spot on. This cake gives me hope. The gateau chocolate cake is an intense chocolatey experience topped with an irresistible soy whipped cream. It leans on the dark chocolate side, so if you prefer super sugary "milk" chocolate I'd go for one of the other desserts. The high quality of the ingredients is evident in every dish Ain Soph Kyoto offers. The pricing is precisely on par with any western cafe you would go to in Japan--however certain dishes like the matcha pancakes and others are fairly pricey (¥1800). Everything about this restaurant is just wonderful. Don't miss it.

The "chicken" burger was astonishing and the pancakes were mindblowing, these are the best pancakes I have ever tasted (matcha flavor). My wife had the classic "cheeseburger", awesome as well. The ginger ale cocktail was fantastic. The staff is nice and welcoming too. Sure it is a little bit pricey but it worths every yen! One of my favorite restaurant in Kyoto ???! This really was a "Journey"... Thanks

Probably it’ll be a good place to go when you want to relax, read or chat with friends. Glad I wasn’t in a hurry, but this is definitely not a place for a quick lunch.
