★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 社会人デビュー以来、1〜2年で１、2足の安物革靴を「消耗品」として履きつぶすルーティーンを幾度となく繰り返してきましたが、40を過ぎた頃から、さすがに年相応の靴を履かねばと思い、ここ数年は入門編のgoodyear製法の靴4〜5足をルーティーンで履き回していました。それから数年経過し、そろそろ靴の手入れを検討せねば、と思っていたところでたまたま見つけたのがこちらのお店でした。
まったくのリペア初心者なので、最初はドキドキしながら訪ねたものですが、こちらのご主人は心優しい気さくな方で、気づいたら、ルーティーンの靴を始め、リサイクルショップなどでちょこちょこ買い集めた新品ではなかなか手が出ない掘り出し物などを含め、わずか半年の間に7足も面倒を見て頂きました。既成靴ならではのいろいろな悩みも、時間をかけて聞き取りをして、最良の解決策を見つけてくれます。医者と靴のリペア屋さんは、聞き取りとインフォームドコンセントが上手な方に限ります。そういう方は必ずといっていい程、腕が確かですから。これからも末長くお世話になりたいと思っています。かつて天才画家・天才建築家を始めとする芸術家達が活躍した、芸術家と職人の街フィレンツェで修行されたとの事ですが、まったく気取ったところがなく、また、いつも親身に相談に乗って頂く間についつい長話をしてしまうルーティーンも、初心者の靴好きとしてはまた楽しい一時となっております。これからもどうぞよろしくお願い致します。

It is said that he was trained in Florence, a city of artists and craftsmen, where artists such as genius painters and architects were active, but there is nothing pretentious at all, and while always consulting with kindness. 多くのリペア店の機械的にこなすだけの仕事に満足いかず､どこもリピートしたことがなかったのですが、今後はこのお店に任せたいと思える仕上がりでした。
white'sのブーツをカスタムに出したのですが､面倒な細かい注文を真摯に聞いて下さいました。仕上がりは期待どころか理想をも超えていて､コロナ禍でなければニヤケ顔を晒すところでした。そもそも出来る出来ないの判別もつかない素人の理想を超えるなんて並大抵のことではありません。もっとかっこよくしてやろうという気概を感じます。技術のことはわかりませんが職人さんの美意識とセンスの良さが見て取れます。
