池	池田敏也 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 芝浦工大と栄東高校があるので、学生さんも多く活気がある駅だと思います。近隣には2018年10月リニューアルオープンの西友も含めてスーパーが多く、飲食店も多いので生活しやすい街です。東口から真っ直ぐのストリートも2年ほど前に整備されキレイになっています。住みやすい街だと思いますが、駅から徒歩１５分圏内の土地や建売住宅が品薄になってるので、これからマンション以外に住む方は駅から少し遠くなるかもしれません。団地もあり、新築戸建も多いので、乗降客が多いので通勤通学時には混雑します。そこが唯一の難点でしょうか。 There are Shibaura Institute of Technology and Sakaehigashi High School, so I think it is a lively station with many students. 佐	佐々木崇 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 芝浦工大と栄東の最寄り駅のため、学生が多いです。朝は学校に通うため駅を降りる学生と、通勤のため電車に乗ろうとする会社員で改札口あたりが混雑します。またホームの幅も狭いため、混んでいるときは危ないと感じます。 2021年3月に快速が止まるようになり便利になりました。 There are many students because it is the closest station to Shibaura Institute of Technology and Sakaehigashi. 齋	齋藤斉（移動性高血圧） on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「JR東大宮駅」は西暦１９６４年（昭和３９年）３月２０日に開業した駅です。そう　前の東京オリンピックが開催された年と同じ年に開業ですよ！２０１９年（平成３１年）に東日本旅客鉄道（JR東日本）の子会社である「JR東日本ステーションサービス」なる会社に業務委託され（直営ではなくなった→格下げ❓）「みどりの窓口」も閉鎖されてい、私たちの様な年配者にとって旅行の切符の手配などが非常に不便になってしまっています。一つ先のお隣の「蓮田駅」は「東大宮駅」より一日あたりの乗車人数が１万人以上も少ないのに（東大宮駅：３３，５３１人⇒蓮田駅：２０，８０４人）みどりの窓口は有るし、快速電車も止まります（ドユコト？）やはり「蓮田駅」は開業年が古く歴史があるから（１８８５年：明治１８年７月１６日）でしょうか、「東大宮駅」の利用者としては納得がいきませぬ　ぬぬぬぬ！！それが　ようやく地域住民の熱い思いがかなって２０２１年３月３１日から全ての快速電車が停車する事になりました。＼(^o^)／こうなったら　「みどりの窓口」の復活と　電車が遅延したら忽ち入場制限をしなくてはならない　狭いホームを上下線で分ける様にしていただくことを　是非強くお願いしたいものです。 "JR Higashi-Omiya Station" is a station that opened on March 20, 1964 (Showa 39).
