住むには困らない。
大学生が群がってる。楽しむのはいいが他の人の通行の邪魔はしないでほしい。

区間準急と各駅電車が停車します。
複々線高架、上り各駅電車の始発が出ます。
東武鉄道の他、東急、半蔵門 、日比谷線の相互乗り入れで便利です。
東口からは松伏町、野田市方面への路線バスが出ています。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 東武線でいち早くホームドア設置をした駅。駅の新装をしたのて、とてもきれいな駅。終点駅になっており、都内からの電車は、１度ホームを出て、折り返し上り線始発になる。

観光地としての達磨寺があるわけではなく、達磨を作る会社？工場？があるのだそうです。
駅周辺には、一通りあれこれ揃っています。
東口には、マック、ドトール、松屋、ダイソー、スーパーマーケットがあります。
西口には、王将、吉野家、串カツ田中、まちおか、のようなチェーンの他、なかむらという肉屋さんが経営する、和牛バーガー、焼肉、食肉販売店といったここだけのお店もあります。
さらに周辺には居酒屋が点々とあります。
文教大学の学生さんの他高校生も多い。
スタバやタリーズが出店するにはあと一歩という感じです。
