善光寺門前では老舗に入ります。店に入ってまず驚くのは、「食券を買ってください!」と強い口調で言われます。もう少し柔らかな対応ができないものかと。そばは、麺が??。残念ながら茹でそばかと思われる食感。汁も出汁が感じられず、食べるのが辛いです。器もプラでした。何年も変わらないですが、老舗とはいえ、善光寺を訪れる人のためにも少し改良されたらと思います。

お店の子供だと思います。店の奥の方でお母さんに勉強を教えてもらっていたのかな?出来なくてグズってました。まだ、お客さんいるのになぁ。他の方のコメントにもありました。お店に来る方は、観光客が殆どでしょうから、こんなお店でもやっていけるのでしょうね。長い歴史があるお店なのに、もったいない。

善光寺の参道にある老舗の蕎麦屋。 この周りは蕎麦屋だらけだが、こちらの店は創業が文久元年との事でかなりの老舗。 家族経営なのだが、奥で店の子供たちと思わしき数人が、ゲームをしていた。私は構わないが、店の奥でするという考えにはならないのだろうか。 蕎麦は…これ、自分たちで打っていないと思う。どこからか、買って来ているでしょう。チェーン系に有り勝ちな、そういう味。 つゆは鰹出汁系だと思う。 どこにでも有るような味なので、特筆するほど良くもなく、かといって別段悪い訳でもなく。 天ぷらの感想も同上。 こういった界隈に並ぶお店では、参拝客の密集率から共通して「本堂に近いほど味が落ちる」などと言われている。 こちらの店に関しては、特筆する様な美味しい料理も不味い料理も提供している訳では無いという感想。

仁王門のすぐそば仲見世通りにあリます。ざる、天ざるを頂きましたが、少し固め、茹で足りない印象でした。十割信州蕎麦のブツブツ切れる感じではありません。生ビールではなくて、瓶と缶で提供されていました。ごちそうさまでした。
