今までに二度焼失したらしく、現在のものは大正七年(1918年)再建された様ですね、正面には定額山の額が掲げられ、仁王像や三宝荒神、三面大黒天の像があります。
時間が無くサクッと行ってしまいましたが、時間に余裕があるならじっくり見てもらいたいです、迫力が伝わってきますよ。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 仁王像は見上げるほどの大きさで迫力があります。それに目は睨んでいるような感じなので小さい子は怖く思えるかもしれません。
The statue of Nio is big enough to look up and is powerful. Besides, the eyes are glaring, so small children may feel scared.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You want a piece of Japanese culture. You’ve got to stop here. Save half a day for just the temple. Start off early. Do try the dark tunnel.
Work up your appetite. Hit a local restaurant (all of them are delicious). But be warned, if your going at lunch time, you might have to wait between 15-30 mins.
After lunch check the local stores and get your souvenirs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful temple. Worth going to explore and hear the stories of the temple. Can turn a knob down below the temple for good luck, can rub a statue then yourself for good health, can pay, can but fortunes, and take in ease of it all. There's shopping down the way from the temple and places to eat and take a short rest. No pics inside though
