★ ★ ★ ★ ★ お城を見学したあと、ここを起点に街をブラブラしました。街の至る所に良い感じの路地があり、写真を撮るのが楽しかったです。
 After visiting the castle, I went around the city starting from here. There were nice alleys all over the city and it was fun to take photos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 西尾市内をゆっくり観光する時間が取れなかったのですが、駅から徒歩12~3分と近くひとり気儘に散策できました。周辺には西尾市の歴史を感じられる施設もあり、次回はもっと時間を掛けて見て回りたいと思います。
I didn't have time to take a leisurely tour of Nishio city, but I was able to take a walk alone, just 12 to 3 minutes on foot from the station. There are facilities in the area where you can feel the history of Nishio City, so I would like to spend more time looking around next time.

Development has progressed and there are not many remains as a castle, but it is fun to find a castle that can be seen and hidden in modern times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 近衞邸から見える最初に復元した丑寅櫓が小さ過ぎます。二度目に作られた駐車場にある二層の丑寅櫓と比べると一目瞭然です。二階建なのに､駐車場の櫓の方が大きいのはおかしい｡後、駐車場の櫓の建てた向きが資料館の西尾城図と違うのが、気になる｡これもおかしい｡なんかよくわからない評論家やそれに携わる方達が自己満で好き勝手に作っているように思えてならないです。城の瓦に西尾市のマークが入っているのも論外､あり得ないです。これにはガッカリです。これから未来に残していく物を作るのなら、史実に基づいたちゃんとした物を作って欲しいです。これが､100年後200年後に国宝になる物を想定して｡作っている物達にそういう考えはないのでしょうか？
The first restored Yutora turret seen from the Kinjo residence is too small. It is obvious when compared to the two-story turret in the parking lot that was created for the second time. It is strange that the turret of the parking lot is larger even though it is a two-story building. Later, I am worried that the direction of the turret of the parking lot is different from the Nishio castle map of the museum. This is also strange. And the people involved in it should not seem to be self-sufficient and selfish. It is out of the question that the roof tiles of the castle have the Nishio City mark on it. This is disappointing. If you want to make something that will be left in the future, I want you to make a proper thing based on historical facts. Imagine that this will become a national treasure 100 or 200 years from now. Do you have any idea of what you are making?

There are big and small, but many people feel romance in the castle? I'm not very good at history, but I like to walk around the castle.

私見ですが長野にある松本城に似てる感じがしました。
周りは公園になってて近所の方がランニングやウォーキングをされていました。
It's small but compact, and it has a taste.
In my opinion, it felt like Matsumoto Castle in Nagano.
The surrounding area was a park, and the neighbors were running and walking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今の本丸丑寅櫓は、二の丸の鍮石門と同時期の1996年に復元、史実に則しているのかは分かりませんが、雰囲気だけは醸し出していると思います。
全国的に本丸と二の丸共に丑寅櫓だけ復元されている事は珍しいです。
江戸時代初期の徳川家光/正保元年(1644)12月に幕府命令で各藩に描かせた西尾城「正保城絵図」には本丸に3重櫓(丑寅/北東)と3棟の2重櫓が書かれていました?
⭐️「正保城絵図」…江戸城内の紅葉山文庫に幕末まで収蔵「131鋪」、現在は国立公文書館内閣文庫に「63鋪」が伝存所蔵、1986年(昭和61年)国重要文化財指定、中部圏の城郭では13城郭が含まれ「三河国西尾城絵図」も残されています。
※1585年(天正13年)、二の丸に天守を移す前の天守の位置は北東/丑寅だったのでしょうか⁉️
