商談に訪れる外国人達はそのおもてなしにびっくりしたことでしょう。
やはり日本人のおもてなしの心は昔から変わらず粋だなと思いました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 中居屋重兵衛は、上野国吾妻郡中居村（現在の群馬県吾妻郡嬬恋村三原）の出身です。1859年（安政6年）の開港時、横浜で生糸貿易の半数以上を占めた中居屋重兵衛の店があった場所です。
Shigebei Nakaiya is from Nakai Village, Agatsuma District, Kozuke Province (currently Mihara, Tsumagoi Village, Agatsuma District, Gunma Prefecture). When the port opened in 1859 (Ansei 6), there was a store of Nakaiya Jyubee, which accounted for more than half of the raw silk trade in Yokohama.
